Hotel Room Attendant/Coffee Waiter Job Description
White Horse, Hertingfordbury - The Company
- This is beautiful, family-owned boutique hotel and restaurant with 7 rooms in Hertingfordbury is looking for a Housekeeper/Room Attendant and morning coffee/breakfast Waiter. This is an ideal job for a local person. Monday-Saturday 8.00-2.30pm
The Role of the Room Attendant/Coffee Waiter
- Cleaning guest accommodation to a very high standard.
- Changing linen and ensuring all used linen is collected and cleaned by the laundry company.
- Performing inventory checks so that the rooms are ready and fully equipped for the next guests.
- Checking rooms for any maintenance or decoration issues and reporting these to the management team.
- Serving breakfast to hotel guests and early customers between the hours of 8.30 – 10 when front of house team arrives for morning service.
- This includes following procedures for opening shifts, cash handling, guest satisfaction, security, telephone policy.
- Clearing and cleaning tables.
- Ensure that each guest has a problem free stay without any issues so they can relax and enjoy their time at our hotel.
- Responsibility must be taken for any problems or queries that arise during your shift, to either resolve them yourself or seek assistance from the Manager on duty on their arrival.
- Support the team with preparation for morning shifts.
- Be fully aware of the hotel product.
The Requirements for the role
- A perfectionist with a keen eye for detail.
- Good at working efficiently as part of a team.
- Willing to undergo any training provided to assist in the role.
- Well-presented and maintain smart appearance.
- Consistently hard working, flexible and enthusiastic.
- Ideally you will have worked in a hospitality/food and beverage environment however we don't need you to be fully trained in systems and procedures, but we do need you to want to do a great job and can train you in areas needed.

Seeking experienced CDP for The White Horse, Hertingfordbury
Up to 48 hours per week, flexible rota, usually 5 days on 2 days off
28 days paid holiday per annum
Daily support from head chef
